Arthur's career spans major surveying firms in Tasmania, Queensland, and New South Wales, as well as extensive work in the UK, Zambia, and even a stint in Antarctica. After decades of hands-on experience across diverse environments and projects, Arthur founded AM Surveys to deliver a higher standard of practical, technology-driven surveying services.
AM Surveys operates within pure surveying — and well beyond it. Recognised as spatial surveying technology specialists, the team provides expert knowledge, insight, and innovative solutions to help clients solve complex challenges across multiple industries. AM Surveys skill set spans all sectors, from renewables to land development, delivering reliable, project-ready data that supports informed decision-making.
Arthur leads the business with a strong focus on advancing surveying methods, developing new services, and adopting technologies that improve design outcomes and operational efficiency. As a passionate Tasmanian she has a breadth of understanding across a variety of industries. Suzie is a relationship builder and family woman, and is strongly embedded in the local community, supporting the arts, education, agriculture, horticulture and equestrian sectors.
